When you use our BaZi calculation service, we temporarily process the following information:

• Birth date and time (as entered by you)
• Birth location (city name or coordinates)
• Gender (for Luck Pillar calculation direction)

We do not require an account, email address, or any personally identifiable information to use the free reading.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your birth data is used solely to calculate your BaZi chart. The calculation results are stored temporarily in server memory to allow you to revisit your reading via its unique URL. Data is not persisted long-term and is cleared when the server restarts.

3. Cookies

We use a single cookie to remember your cookie consent preference. In the future, we may use analytics cookies (e.g., Plausible) to understand site usage. You can manage your cookie preferences through the consent banner.

4. Third-Party Services

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense, which has its own privacy policy. Payment processing (when implemented) will be handled by Stripe, subject to their privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. Since we do not store personal data long-term, most data subject requests are inherently fulfilled by our ephemeral data model.
